A reliable tube run begins with more than the material grade. The bore determines flow area, the wall contributes to pressure capacity, and the surface condition matters at the fitting connection. F-Line tubing is supplied by Fluidline for projects, maintenance and OEM assemblies across South Africa and African markets.
The core range is cold-drawn, annealed seamless stainless steel tubing specified to ASTM A269 / ASTM A213. Confirm the exact standard, edition and certification on the quotation and material documentation for the selected tube.

TÜV certification as standard
F-Line straight stainless steel tubing is supplied with EN 10204 type 3.2 certification by TÜV as standard. Keep the supplied certificate linked to the tube heat identification. Agree any additional project inspection requirements at enquiry stage.
Instrumentation and hydraulic applications
- Impulse and measurement lines between process equipment and instruments.
- Hydraulic control circuits, power packs and machine assemblies.
- Sampling lines and analyser systems with service-specific cleaning and material selection.
- Plant upgrades, maintenance replacements and new process skids.
Specify gas service explicitly. A wall thickness suitable for a liquid service is not automatically the recommended choice for a gas connection. For oxygen, hydrogen or other specialist services, agree the complete material, cleanliness and connection requirements.
Complete the tube run
Pair correctly selected tubing with Uni-Lok twin ferrule fittings, supports and installation tools. For cutting-ring hydraulic systems, use the dedicated DIN 2353 / ISO 8434-1 fitting guides and confirm the tube requirements of the chosen fitting.

Is 316L tubing automatically dual-certified as 316/316L?
No. Dual certification must be supported by the supplied material certificate; a grade description alone does not establish it.
Can I order by nominal pipe size?
For this tubing range, specify actual outside diameter and wall thickness. Nominal pipe size and schedule are a different dimensional system.
